Candy Bar Sale Tomorrow! (and spirit day) PTA is sponsoring a one-day candy bar sale tomorrow. Candy is $1.00 and is limited to ONE bar per student. Tomorrow is also Spirit Day so break out your Harp Hawk colors and show your school spirit. Go Hawks!

FREE AND REDUCED INFORMATION - DID YOU KNOW???? The District is posting fliers on our Facebook page about the benefits of filling out free and reduced lunch applications. We noticed that the recent flyer they posted doesn't include the fact that we have a SCHOOL NURSE and also a great RESOURCE OFFICER thanks in part to money gotten through free and reduced status. Please consider filling out an application (one per family) if there is any possibility of qualifying for free or reduced meals at Harp. Thanks!

IMPORTANT: Notes are going home today for your to sign up for the time you want to have your Student Involved/Led Conferences. This will be done through Zoom and/or phone calls this year. PLEASE be sure and send this form back tomorrow. We'll schedule conferences after school tomorrow and send you an invitation (with a Zoom link) on Thursday. Thanks!

Thank you to Cox Communications for providing water bottles this year. The kids have really enjoyed them!

Tomorrow is School Spirit Day!!! Be sure to wear your school colors (red/black), any Harp Shirts (any color will work) and/or a Harp Hawk hat!! We'll be awarding a prize to the top classes. Go Hawks!!

CORRECTION!!! The yellow note your child is bringing home has an incorrect web address. Your students just type in harp.sdale.org (NO "WWW" IN FRONT OF IT!). Very sorry for any confusion. Again, have the kids go to harp.sdale.org, fill out the quick form and that's all. Please remember they will need their computer for to use back at Harp tomorrow. Thanks everyone!

TECHNOLOGY CHECK! Tonight all students (K-5) will bring home their computer. Please go to www.harp.sdale.org and click on the picture that says "Chromebook." This will allow us to make sure that your device is able to reach the internet from your home. Students must bring their computer back to Harp tomorrow for use at school. Thank you.

Reminder: The doors at Harp open at 7:30. Students are tardy at 7:45. After 7:45, students are checked in at the office through the front door. There is an online check-in system this year. If you have a car tag, the QR code is on the back...if not we have a QR code on the door.

NOTE: Our marquee has not been updating for several days. Please know the sign folks from Little Rock and our district team are trying to figure out how to fix it. In the mean time, be sure to continue to check out Facebook and the school website for information.

WOW! It was so great to see all our little Hawks back with us today. We have new expectations, new procedures, and new staff. On top of that, we have the required wearing of masks. And guess what....your kids did an amazing job today!! The students were calm, happy, and did everything we asked of them with a smile (the best we could tell). We are very proud of our kids, and of the support we've gotten from you at home. We're off to a great start at Harp Elementary School.

CAR RIDER'S OFF TO A SLOW START - We began using a new system today....plus, we had a number of parents without car tags and/or needed to add information. This causes us to have a long wait times on this first day. Tomorrow will be much faster, we promise:-) Thank you for all the friendly and understanding comments we heard from most of you guys. It is much appreciated!
